About me
Laura Olson, Infant/Toddler Specialist, brings a wealth of experience to the field of early childhood education and early childhood mental health. With a background as a Registered Nurse and an early childhood educator, Laura has spent her career supporting young children and their families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University Missouri, Columbia and a graduate certificate in Early Childhood Mental Health from Portland State University. She has worked with children and families across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, childcare centers, and homes. Currently, she serves as a master trainer and infant/toddler specialist for Childcare Resource and Referral. In her free time, Laura enjoys growing things and spending time outside. She is always on the lookout for an interesting rock and hopes to one day discover an amazing fossil. She enjoys reading mystery novels and hanging out with her four adult children, who are all amateur comedians. Laura is committed to fostering positive developmental experiences and best outcomes for young children.
